DFDSoft Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date: August 25, 2026

Users of DFDSoft may not use the Services to engage in unlawful, abusive, deceptive, harmful, or unauthorized activity.

Prohibited uses include:

Illegal Activity

Using DFDSoft to violate applicable privacy, employment, anti-discrimination, communications, intellectual-property, computer-security, or other laws.

Unlawful Discrimination

Using DFDSoft to discriminate unlawfully in employment or other protected activities.

Unauthorized Data

Uploading, acquiring, processing, or distributing information that the user does not have the right to use.

Spam and Abusive Communications

Sending unsolicited communications in violation of applicable law or repeatedly contacting individuals who have requested that communications stop.

Deceptive Activity

Impersonating another person or organization, concealing the origin of communications, or using false or materially misleading information.

Security Abuse

Attempting to:

  • Circumvent security controls
  • Obtain unauthorized access
  • Probe or exploit vulnerabilities
  • Distribute malware
  • Interfere with the Services
  • Access another customer’s information

Unauthorized Extraction

Scraping, harvesting, copying, downloading, or systematically extracting data from DFDSoft except through functionality expressly provided or authorized by DFDSoft.

Unauthorized Resale

Selling, licensing, redistributing, sublicensing, or creating a competing database from DFDSoft information unless expressly permitted by a written agreement.

High-Risk Eligibility Decisions

Unless expressly supported and authorized by DFDSoft, users may not use DFDSoft as a consumer reporting agency or use information obtained through DFDSoft to determine eligibility for:

  • Consumer credit
  • Insurance
  • Housing
  • Government benefits
  • Other purposes regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act or similar consumer-reporting laws

Abuse of Artificial Intelligence

Users may not intentionally use AI features to:

  • Generate unlawful discriminatory decisions
  • Circumvent employment-law requirements
  • Generate malicious content
  • Obtain unauthorized personal information
  • Automate unlawful activity

Enforcement

DFDSoft may investigate suspected violations and may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect DFDSoft, its users, third parties, or the integrity of the Services.
